Only saw Willie Nelson in person of those famous singers. Would have loved to see Cash.

You're right! I had completely forgotten "Love my Cows"! The lyrics that keep going through my head are "I took you for better, you got worse (You got worse) / I didn't think that you would run off with your nurse. / You and her just wheeled away right down another aisle / All I remember of you is your broken tooth-ed smile." 😂

Willie's Roadhouse on SiriusXM in my wife's car. The only time we listen to music anymore. We have about 100 vinyl albums from the 70s and 80s that have been moved 5 times without being removed from their storage boxes. Can't seem to part with them!

Buddy Holly was my Kris Kristofferson.

'devotion' or 'obsession'? Either way, a fun read Amy!

For me, the peak was probably Duane 'Skydog' Allman and the Southern Rock bands.

Music takes me back to wonderfully different times and places, and friends. Can always put a smile on my face and a bit of an ache in my heart. I LOVE country music too!
